Four Freedoms Awards 2021

The Four Freedoms Awards 2020 were postponed for a year due to the corona pandemic. On April 21, 2021, the postponed Four Freedoms Awards ceremony took place online. Five special people and organizations from Middelburg received an Award because they are committed to the Four Freedoms of Franklin Delano Roosevelt with great dedication. The laureates were addressed during an online ceremony by, among others, King Willem-Alexander and Prime Minister Mark Rutte. After the ceremony, the laureates went into a live conversation with various young people led by presenter Joris Luyendijk during the Four Freedoms Meet-up.
