At the 1990 ceremony, the following laureates received their awards: Vaclav Havel & Jacques Delors received the International Four Freedoms Award, 'Those whose voices helped destroy the Iron curtain' received the Freedom of Speech Award, Laszlo Tokes received the Freedom of Worship Award, Jonkheer Emile van Lennep received the Freedom from Want Award and Simon Wiesenthal received the Freedom from Fear Award.
