At the 2018 ceremony, the Four Freedoms Awards were presented to the following individuals and organizations:

• The International Four Freedoms Award went to Costa Rican diplomat Christiana Figueres Olsen as a representative of all those involved who contributed with their efforts and dedication to the realization of the Paris Climate Agreement;
• The Freedom of Speech Award went to Turkish journalist Erol Önderoǧlu;
• The Freedom of Worship Award went to South Sudanese Bishop Paride Taban;
• The Freedom from Want Award went to the Belgian conservationist Emmanuel de Merode on behalf of the Virunga Alliance partnership in the Democratic Republic of Congo;
• The Freedom from Fear Award went to Nepalese human rights activist Urmila Chaudhary.
